Online delivery : There are technical difficulties with the integration of the courses with the learning management system (LMS) that will be used for the online delivery. We are working very hard to resolve the technical issues. We estimate the LMS courses will be available some time in June.

The courses will be offered through the National Fire Academy Online Learning Management System. Students using this online training must be affiliated with an NWCG member agency (through direct membership or agreement) or a member of a fire department.
A course administrator is required for each student. After completing the online training required by your agency or department, your training officer or fire chief will evaluate required further training including participation in a hosted field exercise day with practical tasks. Your affiliated department can then certify your completion of the training by issuing the final certificate(s) and issue you a red card if you have completed all of the tasks for the position.
Note: NWCG does not issue certificates, red cards, provide course administrators or host exercises/training. These will be provided by your training officer or fire department.
