Introduction
Welcome to the S-232 Dozer Boss pre-course work.

In this pre-course work students will utilize several reference materials to answer a series of questions familiarizing themselves with various aspects of dozer operations in the wildland fire enviornment.

Objectives
Students will:

1. Read through S-232 Pre-Course Work Appendix D and become familiar with its content.

2. Use a combination of an IRPG, Single Resource Boss, Dozer Taskbook, Fireline Handbook-Appendix B, and an Incident Business Management Handbook to answer questions provided.

3. Demonstrate experience level and material proficiency to instructors.

Assignment
Step 1: READ through Dozer Boss Student Workbook Appendix D (.pdf).

Step 2.COMPLETE the S-232 Pre-Course Work Questions (.doc). There are 3 parts. Refer to the reference materials section to aid in the completion of the questionnaires.

Step 3: BRING your completed pre-course work questions to class or submit it as directed by your instructor or course coordinator.
