Introduction
Welcome to the S-234 Ignition Operations Pre-Course Work.
In this pre-course work students will utilize several reference materials to familiarize themselves with various aspects of burning operations in the prescribed/wildland fire enviornment. Activities include answering questions, asking questions, and studying definitions.
Objectives
Students will:
1. Read through pre-course work materials and become familiar with their content.
2. Answer questions, study definitions, and follow all instructions in pre-course material.
3. Demonstrate experience level and subject proficiency to instructors.
Assignment
The following pre-course study will take approximately 2 hours to complete and is required to attend S-234 Ignition Operations. It is meant to be an open book evaluation. Completed pre-work package must be brought to class for discussion and review..
