Introduction
Welcome to the S-349 Resources Unit Leader/Demobilization Unit Leader pre-course work.

In this pre-course work students will begin to familiarize themselves with the duties and responsibilities of the Resources Unit Leader/Demobilization Unit Leader position.

Objectives
Students will:

1. Read through pre-course work materials and become familiar with their content.

2. Complete a T-card exercise and a short quiz to demonstrate experience level and subject proficiency to instructors.

Assignment
1. Read the Documentation Unit Leader Job Aid (NFES #2543).

2. Read Overview of the Planning Section, Resources Unit and Demobilization Unit.

3. Complete 12 T-cards based on the information found on the Frog Incident Check-in List (ICS-211) linked below. Completing the T-cards before coming to the course is essential and students will be using these cards to complete other exercises in the course. You will need to provide your own T-cards (12).

4. Download and complete the S-349 Pre-course Work Quiz and bring it to class or submit it as directed by your instructor or course coordinator. Be prepared to discuss your answers. Refer to the reference material section below for aid in the completion of the questionnaire.
